Sean Combs has been mostly cleared of a sexual assault lawsuit filed by Sara Rivers, who accused him of groping her during her time on Making the Band 2.
The lawsuit, seeking $60 million in damages, alleged assault, battery, sexual harassment, and a hostile work environment.

The majority of the claims were dismissed due to being time-barred, with only one claim remaining under New York’s gender-motivated violence protect act.
Combs’ lawyer stated that the claims were meritless and legally deficient, and a decision on the remaining claim will be made pending a federal appeals court ruling on a recent amendment to the law.
Combs was recently acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy charges but found guilty of prostitution-related offenses under the Mann Act, with sentencing scheduled for October.
