Chris Cornell Settles Lawsuit After 25 Years

After 25 years, Chris Cornell The Soundground frontman Chris Cornell has won the lawsuit for the master tapes to his 1991 Temple of the Dog recordings featuring Eddie Vedder, Pear Jam members and future Soundgarden.

According to TMZ, Cornell and A&M Records got the physical tapes back on Tuesday, ending the battle with the album’s producer, Rick Parashar.

Cornell tweeted the news with a picture of the original tapes, stating they have been returned just in time for Temple of the Dog’s 25th anniversary.
