Rolling Stones Film ‘Exile on Main Street’ Headed for Big Screen

Downtown Abbey’s director, Andy Goddard is in the process of casting actors to play Mick Jagger and Keith Richards for the upcoming Rolling Stones’ biopic Exile On Main Street.

Exile on Main Street: A Season in Hell with the Rolling Stones, is based on the book by Robert Greenfield about the summer the band recorded their iconic record.

According to Deadline, Brandon & Philip Murphy wrote the screenplay for Exile on Main Street. Virgin Produced, City Entertainment, KippSter Entertainment and The Gotham Group are producing the project. The filmmakers are eyeing a winter start date and are looking to cast Jagger and Richards now.
