Flea Introduces The Fender Signature Flea Bass

For all of you bass players out there something new and terrifying comes this way. There is a new line of bass guitars coming in the Fender Signature Series. The guitars are exact reproductions of the Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist’s Shell Pink ’61 instrument and will be made available for purchase.

The instrument is an replica of Flea’s own Shell Pink ’61 Jazz Bass. The musician was gifted the bass guitar by a fan and used it on Atoms for Peace’s AMOK, RHCP’s Stadium Arcadium, and their most recent record, The Getaway. Consider this precise recreation his way of re-gifting it back to all his fans worldwide.
