It’s been over 10 months since AC/DC rocked AT&T Park and a lot has changed during that time. Brian Johnson is out, Axl Rose was temporarily in and Cliff Williams is calling it quits following the “Rock or Bust” tour. Angus Young was recently interviewed by Rolling Stone magazine. The legendary lead guitarist spoke on a number of topics. Here are some of the excerpts…
On Brian Johnson’s hearing problems….” He already had one bad ear. He damaged it in a car accident. The one good ear was rapidly dropping.”
On Axl Rose fronting the band during the tour…. “He’s been really good. He prepares himself, ready to go.”
On Cliff Williams decision to retire following the tour …. “Cliff made it known before we’d even started touring – this would be his last.”
On the future of AC/DC …. “We were committed to finishing the tour. Who knows what I’ll feel after?”
