Celebrating the life of Tom Size

Bay area greats gathered on Saturday night (1/7) to honor the memory of Tom Size.  The legendary Bay area recording engineer passed away in October of 2016 but not before leaving an amazing impression on the rock music industry.

Size began his career in the early 1970s and would contribute to the careers of Journey, Steve Miller Band, Joe Satriani, David Lee Roth and many others.  Two of the bands who worked close with Tom were Mr. Big and Y&T.  Members of both were among those that performed at the “One Size Fits All” celebration from the Empress Theater in Vallejo this weekend.

I had the chance to attend and it was an amazing night of music and memories. Here’s video captured by a fan of Dave Meniketti performing “Summertime Girls”…
