If you regularly listen to the Lamont & Tonelli Show then you’re probably already aware that I won the celebrity death pool this year. Of course, we play this game in jest but this was the first year I won…and unfortunately it was due to a tragedy pick I stupidly chose. :o( I immediately regretted choosing that person and winning money from that has haunted me ever since. (The boys think I’m silly by the way. lol) SO, in a selfish attempt at balancing my karma I have decided to donate the money to charity. The charity I chose is one very close to my heart. A’Layah’s Lemonade for Love was created by a beautiful young adopted girl who wanted to provide backpacks of goodies to children in foster care. I have given to them before and was able to directly see how my money was used. With recent political events I have been telling myself “Think Globally and Act Locally.” She is from my hometown and I think this is a great way to support a wonderful local cause. May God forgive me (cheesy smile) and may this money be blessed and spread joy to foster children.
