Roger Waters Shares Clip Of New Music Made With Radiohead Producer

Roger Waters is gearing up for a busy 2017. Besides announcing a 40-date 2017 North American tour, he’s also working on a solo album with Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich.

In a new video posted to his official Instagram account, Waters plays a short bass lick that we can assume will be on the as-yet-untitled album.

In a recent interview, Waters described the album as featuring 12 songs that are “part magic carpet ride, part political rant, part anguish.” Overall, though, the forthcoming LP is about love. “It’s pondering…the question of how do we take these moments of love, if we are granted any in our lives, and allow that love to shine on the rest of existence, on others.”
