As you all should know by now Bimbo Jimbo and I are huge wrestling fans, needless to say we are both excited to hear the news that Bay Area based wrestling promotion All Pro Wrestling have booked a big show at the Cow Palace in Daly City.
To wrestling fans, the Cow Palace is hollow ground when it comes to professional wrestling with a rich history of cards over the decades. Many promotions have used the Cow Palace to host their events, including the WWE, WCW, NWA, AWA and Roy Shire’s Big Time Wrestling.
Below are a couple of examples of the many historical wrestling matches the Cow Palace has hosted over the years.

The first wrestling show my parents took my brother Tommy and I to was at the Cow Palace on May 10th, 1991. The main event was Hulk Hogan vs. Sgt. Slaughter. As you can imagine, the Cow Palace has a special place in my heart.
This is an exciting time because for the first time in 35 years, a San Francisco based wrestling promotion invades the Cow Palace.
On Saturday, May 6th APW is proud to present Cow Palace Royale.

My brother Tommy, Bimbo Jimbo and myself were at this show and we had so much fun. The main event between Cody Rhodes vs. Penta el Zero M was amazing. Joey Ryan interfered in the match and busted Cody Rhodes’ head open, which led to Cody Rhodes challenging Joey Ryan to a steel cage match at the Cow Palace Royale show. I can’t wait to watch that match in person.
