The Guns N’ Roses “Not in This Lifetime Tour” has been a huge success despite minor hiccups like the one that happened in Australia. Billed as a “classic lineup” the band is absent of original members who made their debut album “Appetite for Destruction” the ground-breaking recording that it has become.
Why are these originals no longer in the band? According to former drummer Steven Adler it’s all the fault of Axl Rose.
“I got kicked out of the band, and Izzy got kicked out of the band, and then Slash and Duff did, because Axl wanted to take control of everything. He wanted to own the name, he wanted to be the only person who gets paid for the songs,” said Adler in a recent interview.
