Queens Of The Stone Age announced Monday that they will be canceling their performance at Outside Lands due to an injury.
No details have been shared regarding the injury, but the band issued an apology in the wake of the cancellation. Queens was originally scheduled to play day-two of the festival on Saturday, August 12. Cage The Elephant will now take the stage in their place, opening up for Metallica on the Lands End stage on Saturday.
According to Billboard, this would have been the last festival date for Queens before they go on tour in support of their new album, Villains.
Queens are set to release Villains on August 25 and will open up their tour on September 6 at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York.
