sooo. here's a fun story. the amazing woman in this photo is Mrs Fiataroni. she basically taught me how to sing. this is a picture of us in 1977 at fantasy studios in Berkeley ca. I was 5 years old. I recorded a record called "Look for Love". 16 years later Green Day recorded Dookie in the same studio. (dude on the right was the engineer)

Billie Joe Armstrong was destined for stardom – and that was clear at an early age.

The Green Day frontman shared Wednesday a picture of himself at Berkeley’s Fantasy Studios in 1977 along with his singing teacher Mrs. Fiataroni and the engineer during the studio session. Armstrong notes that he was recording a track called “Look for Love” and coincidently recorded Green Day’s major record label album Dookie in the same studio 16 years later.

Green Day recently played at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum and is currently on tour promoting their latest album, Revolution Radio.
