Mark Tremonti and Eric Friedman from Tremonti show how talented they are by covering Metallica’s “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” on a Hello Kitty guitar and ukulele.
Tremonti are currently out promoting there upcoming new album “A Dying Machine” which comes out on June 8th. Mark Tremonti and Eric Friedman stopped by Loudwire to take on their Hello Kitty challenge. It wasn’t bad enough both guys were assigned to play crappy instruments but they decided to use the toy guitars to cover Metallica’s “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” from the band’s third album “Master of Puppets.”
Despite the toy guitars lack of frets, both guys nailed the song spot on including the solo. From what we read, this performance was recorded/shot in a single take. Kudos to both guitarists for accomplishing the tough task at hand.
