This month Guns N’ Roses began their European run of their Not In This Lifetime tour. During their concert in Odenske, Denmark Guns N’ Roses performed “Shadow of Your Love” live for the first time in more than 30 years. The band’s former B-side song currently serves as the new single for their huge Appetite for Destruction Locked N’ Loaded box set, which will be released on June 29th.
“Shadow of Your Love” is one of two songs Guns N’ Roses tracked during sessions with Appetite for Destruction’s producer Mike Clink that appear on the new set. The song was recorded during a trial session that earned Clink the production job along with an acoustic version of “Move to the City,” which was recorded during the GN’R Lies sessions. Both songs are included in the upcoming new box set.
Guns N’ Roses included a cover of Velvet Revolver’s “Slither” during their Denmark set, which they first played live in Berlin, Germany during the opening night of their European tour earlier in the week. You can watch the video below. Guns N’ Roses’ European tour continues throughout this summer before they head to Southeast Asia in the fall.
