Premise: In the first season, Frank Castle, known throughout New York City as “the Punisher” after exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his family, uncovers a larger conspiracy beyond what was done to him and his family. The second season sees Castle, who has been living a quiet life on the road, drawn into the mystery surrounding the attempted murder of Amy Bendix, forcing him to decide if he should embrace his life as the Punisher.
He isn’t the one who dies. He’s the one that does the killing.

As excited as I am to finally see Season 2 of The Punisher, part of me is worried because with the recent cancellations of the other Marvel shows on Netflix, Daredevil, Luke Cake, Iron Fist, one would speculate that within a few weeks after the new season drops, The Punisher might receive the same fate. In the meantime, let’s not dwell on it, instead let’s enjoy the upcoming second season.
Also, I’m surprise Netflix has done very little promotion for the upcoming season. Usually new trailers drop a couple months before a season premieres. This teaser trailer along with the date announcement are coming out just two weeks before the release date. This has me thinking are they trying to quietly get through this season before announcing a quick cancellation? Only time will tell.
