What could possibly be more fun that a night at the ballpark? Well how about a Queen sing-along in the outfield? To the lucky fans in attendance that’s exactly what they got.
The San Francisco Giants being on the road last week made the ballpark an awfully lonely place, so Giants Enterprises and the San Francisco AIDS Foundation (SFAF) teamed up to present a sing-along to Queen biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody.
The tale of Freddie Mercury’s life was honored in full that night as an audience clad in their best Freddie costumes, along with free crowns and mustaches at the door, started the night by rocking out to the world’s only all-female Queen cover band, The Killer Queens. They did indeed rock us.
Chasta was the MC for the night and took full advantage of the opportunity as she warmed up the crowd as well with a few Mercury-esque dae does.
After an educational video from the SFAF and an encore performance from the band, it was time for the main event. An all night jam, with hardly needed karaoke subtitles to help us along, rocked us into the night.
