AXS TV has acquired the rights to AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson’s talk show. The TV show called “Brian Johnson: A Life On The Road,” originally aired in the U.K. on Sky Arts, is set to premiere in the U.S. September 15th on AXS TV.
AXS TV were able to get two seasons of “A Life On The Road” from Eagle Rock Entertainment, for a total of 12 episodes. The premise of the show involves Brian Johnson interviewing other musicians.
The first episode will feature Sting, with whom Brian Johnson visited in New York City. The two visited downtown Manhattan to the former location of punk club CBGB. Fun fact, The Police played their first U.S. gig at CBGB.

Other artists appearing on the first season include Robert Plant (September 22nd), The Who’s Roger Daltrey (September 29th), Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott (October 6th), Metallica’s Lars Ulrich (October 13th) and Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason (October 20th).
Scheduled to appear in season two are Billy Joel (October 27th), Joe Walsh (November 3rd), Dolly Parton (November 10th), Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfler (November 17th), Paul Rodgers (November 24th) and Fleetwood Mac’s Mick Fleetwood (December 1st).
