SACRAMENTO – There are very few bands have had the longevity that Fishbone has enjoyed, but that longevity puts them in a unique place to speak about topics bigger than music.
First assembling in 1979, the members of the Los Angeles band have changed over the years. But throughout the different band iterations, social change has been at the forefront of their message.
This year at Aftershock Festival at Discovery Park in Sacramento, original members Angelo Moore (vocals) and Christopher Dowd (keyboard, trombone, vocals) sat down with Chasta and Baby Huey to talk about their music, career, and how they use their platform to affect change around them.
