As Lamont and Tonelli announced yesterday morning, The Doobie Brothers will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This morning Lamont and Tonelli personally congratulated Tom Johnston on the band’s induction and talked about The Doobie Brother’s upcoming 50th Anniversary tour.
The list of honorees for the 2020 class include:
1. The Doobie Brothers
2. T-Rex
3. Nine Inch Nails
4. Depeche Mode
5. Whitney Houston
6. The Notorious B.I.G.
7. Jon Landau and Irving Azoff are the recipients of the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
The 35th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on May 2nd in Cleveland, Ohio. Performances and special guests will be announced soon. The ceremony will be broadcast live on HBO on May 2nd at 8pm ET.
The Doobie Brothers‘ 50th Anniversary Tour will be at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View on September 12th.
