Sturgis Motorcycle Rally To Take Place Again This Year

The 80th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally will take place in South Dakota again this year to be held from Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 16th. The city council voted in favor of holding the event amidst concern of the Coronavirus pandemic.

The rally will take place but many safety measures are being placed along with modifications to the events. Open containers will not be allowed on Main Street and sanitation centers will be provided within the city. Among the events being canceled for this year are the opening ceremonies, parade and B-1 flyover.
