A second “Roll-in and Rock Out” live drive-in concert will be held Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th, 2020 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds at 4501 Pleasanton Avenue in Pleasanton, California. The drive-in style concert events have proven to be a safe and fun way for area residents to enjoy live music since the threat of the coronavirus pandemic changed everyday life around the world.
Three rockin’ California-based tribute bands will take the stage: STUNG (a cool tribute to The Police), Heartless (an awesome Heart tribute), and Queen Nation (a talented tribute to Queen) – this live show will be the second drive-in live concert at the fairgrounds! This concert has 2 giant video screens for optimal views, with great sound and light production for all the fans to hear every beat. Multiple HDTV cameras will film, while the music will be live, loud, and FM simulcast.
Don’t Stand So Close to Me! Enjoy the whole concert in or near your vehicle. The Friday night show will likely sell out quickly, and if so, a Saturday show will be added. Tickets are available from the Alameda County Fairgrounds website as $100 per vehicle with maximum allowable legal capacity. Here is where you can buy Friday night tickets and Saturday night tickets.
Food can be brought in, or dinner can be pre-purchased in advance. There will be a drive-thru bar; but everyone in the vehicle must be 21 years old or above. After the initial ticket purchase, a dinner offer email will be sent to the purchaser and all dinner purchases will get preferred parking in the front rows.
Everyone who attends will have fun while staying safe. Rock and Roll concerts have now officially evolved in these changing times. Roll-in and Rock Out!
