Good news! In September, The Rolling Stones are releasing a CD/DVD live album of a 1989 Stones show in Atlantic City! Steel Wheels Live is extra special for a number of reasons. It was the band’s first tour in eight years and features surprise guest appearances by Axl Rose and Izzy Stradlin (Guns N’ Roses), as well as Eric Clapton and John Lee Hooker.

Also notable, Donald Trump signed on to be a “silent promoter” of sorts, as the band wrote into the agreement that Trump’s name couldn’t be listed on any marketing materials, nor was he allowed to attend the show. Trump ignored both requests, and when the Stones arrived on-site at the venue they saw signage with Trump’s name on it, and found out later that he was in attendance, causing Keith Richards to pull a knife on him! Check out the full story here!
