Most Legendary Drum-Offs

What makes a drum-off interesting? The style? The people? Their ages? Their non-verbal antics? Maybe all of the above.

You may remember when Dave Grohl and Animal from The Muppets had their legendary drum-off a few years back. The video (below) starts with Dave and The Muppets playing “Learn To Fly,” and the last-minute features the most famous Muppet-to-human drum-off in history. Another notable exchange was between the oddly similar-looking duo of Will Ferrell and Chad Smith (of the Red Hot Chili Peppers), which you can see for yourself below.

Or who remembers the Questlove vs. Justin Bieber challenge? But the latest and greatest has been between ten-year-old prodigy drummer Nandi Bushell and fan-favorite Dave Grohl. After Nandi played “Everlong” and challenged Dave last week, he followed up with a Them Crooked Vultures song, and Nandi answered back!

Check out the full story here, and watch their skills below. Nandi has a great Instagram page full of awesome videos of her rocking out on the drums, bass, keyboard, and guitar here!
