The 49ers have been kicked out of their Santa Clara home due to COVID-19, and will now be hosting a “home” game at their new digs in Arizona this week.
Our very own Paul Tonelli will be making the trip for the game on Monday, and offered to bring some sandwiches for the offensive lineman. When Shanahan heard about that, he put in another request.
“When know for a fact that (Mike) McGlinchey and the offensive line have the La Villa, Chris Special sandwiches, in Willow Glen,” Lamont said. “Do you want Paul to have a cooler and bring them down to the team when he flies down there for you guys? Do you have anything you want him to bring back with him?”
“That would be awesome,” Shanahan said. “Actually I need you to bring me some brown socks because I forgot dress socks for when I go to the stadium.”
Kyle better hope when Tonelli brings those socks, a few of Lamont’s don’t get mixed in.
“Coincidentally, I ran out of toilet paper, all my socks are brown,” Lamont said.
