Fauci says Live Concerts May Return in the Fall

Live music could return by the fall “if everything goes right.” That’s according to Dr. Anthony Fauci, who made the prediction during a virtual conference with performing arts officials over the weekend. “If everything goes right, this is will occur sometime in the fall of 2021,” he said. “So that by the time we get to the early to mid-fall, you can have people feeling safe performing onstage as well as people in the audience.”

For everything to go right, Fauci says between 70 and 85 percent of the U.S. population needs to be vaccinated. Once that happens, “performers will be performing, audiences will be enjoying it,” Fauci says. “It will happen.”

Do you believe between 70 and 85 percent of the population will ever get vaccinated?
