Foo Fighters Release New Song, “Waiting on a War”

Today is Dave Grohl’s birthday, but Foo Fighters‘ fans are the ones getting a gift! Foo Fighters have just dropped the latest single, “Waiting on a War,” from their upcoming album Medicine at Midnight. “Waiting on a War” is a mostly acoustic song inspired by a tough conversation about war with Grohl’s 11-year-old daughter. Grohl posted the story on social media with news of the song, saying, “This song was written for my daughter, Harper, who deserves a future, just as every child does.”
