First, it was Japanese Monks now it’s freaking Italian cyborgs, and once again we prove to ourselves what we know our their hearts already – everyone loves Thunderstruck.
These cyborgs, the “Melodicka Bros,” have a knack for covering popular rock songs in their own style, having previously covered Green Day, Linkin Park, System of a Down, and more. The talented, yet goofy, duo claim in the video’s description that they were transported to the year 2077 by a mysterious bolt of thunder to cover this AC/DC classic.
“A mysterious synthy thunder took us to another dimension. Enjoy this Cyberpunk/Synthwave/Electronic-Rock inspired cover of Thunderstruck by AC/DC coming right from the year 2077. (By the way, this is the real thunder not the Imagine Dragons thing).”
With the contentious video game Cyberpunk 2077 having been released just a few months ago we imagine this new take on Thunderstruck is what inspired brothers Dave and Joe, to cover brother Angus and Malcolm’s legendary rock anthem.
While the video looks well produced, a clip at the end of the video reveals the video was shot simply against a white wall with an RGB light pointed at them. Oh and don’t forget the plasma ball.
The duo releases new covers each week.
