Wolfgang Van Halen’s song Distance” has hit #1 on rock radio. The song was written after his father, Eddie Van Halen, died last October from cancer. Wolfgang said, “The response to “Distance” has been incredibly overwhelming.” He added, “It has been more than I could have imagined….I wish Pop was here to see it.”

People reports the proceeds from the song are being donated to Mr. Holland’s Opus, one of Eddie’s favorite charities.
