He’s at it again! Dave Grohl is directing a new feature-length documentary called What Drives Us, and it looks awesome.

Grohl says, “This film is my love letter to every musician that has ever jumped in an old van with their friends and left it all behind for the simple reward of playing music…” Have you ever dreamed about living life on the road…inside a van…touring around America with your band? Sounds pretty fantastic. The movie is produced by the Foo Fighters, and is set to be released through Amazon Prime Video on April 30th.

The trailer looks amazing on its own, featuring interviews with Ringo Starr (“You gotta get in the van if you wanna make it in this business” he says), Steven Tyler, and many more. The documentary also features members of the Foo Fighters, plus Flea, Brian Johnson, Slash, Duff McKagan, Ben Harper, Mike Watt, Tony Kanal, Dave Lombardo, and Lars Ulrich, to name a few.
