Aerotha Franklin: When Sweet Emotions Meet the Sweetest Vocals

Youtube, Bill McClintock

In this mashup of Aerosmith’s “Sweet Emotion” and Aretha Franklin’s “Rock Steady” we are both emotional and sweet on this combination.

While we would normally crucify any mashup that dares replace Steve Tyler‘s voice, in this case, we’ll let it slide. And that’s because his replacement is none other than Aretha Franklin – if you’re gonna replace Steve you gotta go big.

While this convergence is not as chaotic as say this dino-themed hybrid we found yesterday, its strength is its simplicity. Just rock n’ roll with a “Rock Steady” vibes.

We know, we know, we’ve gone down the mashup rabbit hole, but how can you not love these imaginative remakes of these classics!
