The Dino-themed Motley Crue Mashterpiece You Never Knew You Needed

Youtube, DJ Cummerbund.

In this day and age, it’s simply not enough to put together two disjunctive songs with similar tempos. You need them to meld together to form ridiculous new themes and a whacky video stuffed with pop culture references to match. Well, DJ Cummerbund somehow pulled all these off when he mashed Motley Crue’s “Dr. Feelgood” and Was (Not Was)’s “Walk The Dinosaur”

The insanely poppy hit about dinosaurs that we all forgot about, yet know every lyric, forms the backbone on which Cummerbund forms his mashsterpiece. Adorned with heavy licks and frequent quips from Vince Neil, this song is so frequently splashed with bites from other songs and video clips from all sorts of dino-related and unrelated movies that it truly becomes its own entity.

Cummerbund says the song and accompanying music video was comprised of everything from Pantera, to The Gap Band, to Randy “Macho Man” Savage, to Jurassic Park, and even, as he puts it, “Some Jerks from Miami Vice.”

We can’t wait to see what this guy cooks up next.
