Blu Weekend: Robert Trujillo and Scott Weiland’s Sons Launch New Band

6:37

It’s all in the family. The sons of Scott Weiland and Robert Trujillo have formed a new band called Blu Weekend.

Noah Weiland and Tye Trujillo previously played together in Suspect208, the short-lived project which also featured the son of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash. Tye describes Blu Weekend as having a “punk vibe.” When he was just 12 years old, Tye filled in for bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu for Korn’s South American tour.

What band do you remember seeing early on and thinking, ‘wow – they are going to make it big’ (and they did)?
