‘Crazy Train’ Ranked Most Iconic Guitar Solo Of All Time

YouTube, @Ozzy Osbourne.

Randy Rhoads’ blistering solo from Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train” has been ranked the most iconic guitar solo of all time by the folks at Loudwire. The publication recruited guitarist Ariel Bellvalaire, who has played on Broadway and in the Guns N’ Roses tribute band ‘Paradise Kitty’, to handle the rankings.

Bellvalaire is clearly an Ozzy fan – her Top 10 also included Rhoads’ solos from “Mr. Crowley” and “Flying High Again”, as well as Zakk Wylde’s solo from “No More Tears” and Jake E. Lee’s solo from “Bark at the Moon”.

Other solos on the list? Slash on”Sweet Child O’ Mine” and “November Rain”, Eddie Van Halen’s “Eruption” and his solo on Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”, and Neal Schon’s solo from Journey’s “Separate Ways”.

What’s your favorite guitar solo of all time?
