The ‘unprecedented’ new documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin has been completed and will premiere soon. The film is the first-ever authorized documentary on the legendary band, and includes ‘unprecedented access’ to band members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones. You’ll also see rare interviews with late drummer John Bonham and never-before-seen archival footage.

Becoming Led Zeppelin will focus on the band’s early days through 1970 – when Zep knocked the Beatles’ Abbey Road off the top of the Billboard charts. No release date has been announced yet.

Why do you think Led Zeppelin has waited until now to take part in a documentary?  What’s your all-time favorite ‘rock doc’?
