Good news for everyone who’s baffled over the bizarre costumed metal band GWAR! A documentary set to premiere next month promises to give fans insight into what makes strange band tick.
“This is GWAR” is scheduled to debut at Austin’s Fantastic Fest, which runs from September 23rd through the 30th, organizers have revealed. The film will show “the trials and tribulations of GWAR,” says Bob Gorman, author of Let There Be GWAR. “It also follows the story of those who have lived with the band and sought to keep it alive these many years,” Gorman adds.
So, I produced a @gwar doc and it’s premiering at @fantasticfest! I’m so proud of this film. It’s emotional, inspiring, funny, and metal AF. They’re some of the most artistic & badass musicians on the planet & I can’t wait for y’all to know them too.https://t.co/dl4js6nFpW
