11-Year-Old Rocks Out With Green Day On Hella Mega Tour Stop

A Green Day fan had the moment of a lifetime at a recent Hella Mega Tour stop – and he’s only 11 years old. An 11-year-old named Meyer joined the band onstage in Hershey, Pennsylvania last week – strapping on a guitar and joining the rest of the band for a cover of Operation Ivy’s “Knowledge”. Meyer’s dad, Mike, says his son has bee “practicing and jamming Green Day throught the pandemic.  Hours each day”.

The Hella Mega Tour continues, and will make a stop in San Francisco.

What’s the most impressive thing you did at age 11?
