On Monday, any hopes of a second act for disgraced, Governor Andrew Cuomo appeared to be dashed when it emerged that he had committed an act so sick and disturbing that he will likely never recover. It appears that Cuomo abandoned his dog, Captain at the governor’s mansion when he moved out, like it was an old Crock-Pot or a shower curtain he hoped to pawn off on the next owner.

Of course, he denies it and is calling it a “misunderstanding,” which is why he has decided to address his “error in judgement” at an early morning press conference.
