Miley Cyrus Nears On-Stage Panic Attack as Concerts Become the Norm Again

As we are all making our way back out into the world, many of us are finding strange the things we once held normal. For Miley Cyrus, taking the the stage is no exception.

Last Friday the pop singer gone rocker admitted that her time in lockdown was inducing a panic attack in the middle of her set. In an effort to corral her intense feelings, she dialogued with the audience about her experience.

“Like everyone else, for the last year and a half I’ve been locked away and isolated and it is very stunning to be back in a place that used to feel like second nature,” Cryus stated. “Being onstage used to feel like being at home, and it doesn’t anymore because of how much time I spent at home locked away and this is very drastic.”

In her speech, she pointed out how vulnerable the pandemic has made lot of us feel, stating her self that she was started and terrified about what was happening.

“Coming out of it is also slightly terrifying. So I just wanted to be honest with how I’m feeling because I think by being honest about that, then it makes me less afraid,” Cyrus continued.

Cyrus concluded that though she was feeling anxious, there’s no other place she’d rather be and was feeling empowered by the moment. She went on to complete her set.

The wrecking-ball vocalist turned an unexpected turn in recent years as she began to not only dawn the rocker uniform of nearly all dark clothing, but also by incorporating rock icons into her musical circles of inspiration. Her last album, ‘Plastic Hearts’ featured Joan Jett and Billy Idol as guest musicians and the singer gained even more clout from the genre with her version of “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica.
