With Nirvana’s ‘Nevermind’ celebrating its 30th anniversary, many are praising the album-including Slipknot’s Corey Taylor.

Talking in a recent interview to Consequence of Sound, Taylor said ‘Nevermind’ “changed the way people thought about songwriting.”

“The first time I got [the album], I must have worn it out for six months,” said Taylor. “I literally sat down and learned how to play every song on the guitar. I learned how to sing every song on that damn album.”

“It is one of the best hard-punk-fusion-pop albums of all time,” he added.

Do you agree with Corey Taylor’s observation of ‘Nevermind?’ What did you think of the album when you first heard it?
