KISS’ Gene Simmons Puts Vegas Mansion on the Market

With just more than two months to go until Christmas, the ultimate gift for the KISS fan in your family has become available — providing you have $14.95 million to spare.

Just five months after he bought it, Gene Simmons has placed his mansion in Henderson, Nevada on the market, according to real estate agency Berkshire Hathaway. The 11,000-square-foot home features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, an elevator, an 11-seat movie theater, two garages that hold 11 vehicles and a scenic view of the Las Vegas strip, according to the listing. The home is located on an acre of land that boasts “a private garden with walking trails” and a courtyard entrance with a “floating walkway” extended over a koi pond, real estate agents say. You can view the photos here.

There’s no word on why Simmons decided to flip the house so quickly.

If you had the money, would you overpay for a home just because it was once owned by a celebrity?
