Lawyer Defends Man Who Attacked Cellmate For Farting

We all know someone who farts constantly, it’s not pleasant, and one Florida man‘s farting has earned him two broken teeth.

At the Monroe County Jail, an inmate was so upset with his cellmate always cutting the cheese that he attacked the man, knocking out two of his teeth and breaking one of his ribs. The sheriff’s office said in a press release that when the man was questioned about the attack, he said it was because his cellmate “passes gas too often and doesn’t give any courtesy flushes when using the toilet.”

Thanks to the long arm of the BONE news department, we have the courtroom audio of the attacker’s lawyer arguing to drop the new charge against his client.
