Judas Priest’s Richie Faulkner says he’s back to playing guitar again after undergoing heart surgery.

Faulkner suffered an aortic rupture onstage during a set at the Louder Than Life festival, forcing the band to postpone the rest of its U.S. tour.

In an update posted this week, Faulkner said he’s “walking well and moving freely”, and is “playing guitar everyday”.

He promised to return to the stage soon, adding “My surgeons are very pleased with my progress and have all reserved front row tickets for the next Priest show”.
