Metallica Announces 40th Anniversary Takeover of San Francisco

Metallica will be celebrating their 40th anniversary by hosting their San Francisco Takeover shows next month!

Between December 16 and 18, the band will showcase bands featuring some of their offspring, side projects, special guests, and even tastings of their Blackened Whiskey line.

In a statement, the band said, “We’re just one short month away from celebrating 40 years together, and we can’t wait to welcome fans from around the world to our hometown!” 

Tickets for the events are on sale now.
