Today marks 41 years since the death of John Lennon.

On Dec. 8th, 1980, Lennon was shot and killed by Mark David Chapman outside of his Manhattan apartment building.

Lennon had actually met Chapman earlier that day, when he asked the former Beatle to sign his copy of Double Fantasy.

Chapman remains in custody to this day, and has been denied parole eleven times.  His next parole hearing is scheduled for August of 2022.

How would music history be different if Lennon had survived?  If you could bring back one deceased rock star, who would it be?
