It’s that time of year again to resurrect a long running debate, is Die Hard a Christmas movie?

Reginald VelJohnson who was in Die Hard, weighs in on the debate.

He said when he was filming the movie he never thought about it being a Christmas movie. He knew there was a Christmas theme throughout the movie but that it was not the major focus.

I never realized it was going to be a Christmas movie until the audience told me it was. I then said, ‘yes and hell yes it’s a Christmas movie. Whatever you want to do as long as you see the movie, I’m fine with it.
