Brad Pitt – yes, that Brad Pitt – is re-opening an iconic recording studio once used by acts like Pink Floyd, AC/DC, and The Cure.

The actor has teamed up with French composer Damien Quintard to renovate Miraval Studios, which just so happened to be located in a French chateau and vineyard Pitt owns with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie.

The studio was used to record part of Pink Floyd’s masterpiece The Wall and The Cure’s Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me.  Other artists who have recorded at Miraval include Elton John, AC/DC, Judas Priest, and The Cranberries.

Ever dream of opening up your own recording studio?  What kind of music would you record there?
