Listen to Isolated Bon Scott Vocals From “Highway to Hell”

YouTube, @Lipbite Music – Vocals.

Even though there have been so many vocalists within rock and roll, there are a good handful that stand out and always come to mind whenever you ask someone who their favorite singer was. Of course we get the names of Freddie Mercury, who had phenomenal range and power, and Robert Plant, whose voice is clear and pure, but one voice that truly stood out among the rest was Bon Scott of AC/DC.

The man was a wild card and almost never sang sober, his swagger and growl made him seem almost inhuman, but that doesn’t mean that he didn’t let loose and own the stage and microphone. He projected sex and debauchery but that doesn’t mean that he couldn’t write melodies. He is actually responsible for some of AC/DC’s catchiest choruses, including ‘TNT’ and ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’. But when it came to combining all of his talents in a three-minute song, Scott was never better than on ‘Highway to Hell’.

Take a listen to the isolated vocals from the AC/DC hit and revel in the glory that was Bon Scott!
