Slash Thinks Touring During Pandemic Restored Guns N’ Roses ‘Passion For Music’

They aren’t in the jungle, anymore.

Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash said in a new interview that the band’s U.S. tour last year was eye-opening and restored their “passion for music.”

Hitting the road under strict protocols – crew members wearing masks, no after-parties, no record exes, no celebrations – turned out to be incredible.

“We’ve never enjoyed playing music so much… The effect on the group as a whole was super positive.”

He added that if someone had told him in the ’80s that this is how touring would end up, “I wouldn’t have believed you.”

Slash is set to release a new album with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators next month.

If you were around in the ’80s, what’s one thing you did back then that you definitely don’t do now?
