“Jackass Forever” star Johnny Knoxville will be putting his body on the line tomorrow night when enters the ring to take on actual professional wrestlers in WWE’s Royal Rumble. Though we all know this is part of a cross-promotion for the upcoming release for “Jackass Forever”, this is actually not the first time that any of the stars of “Jackass” have been featured on WWE. When Jackass #2 came out in 2006, Steve-O and Chris Pontius made an appearance on WWE RAW. As you can see from the reaction video with Steve-O and fellow Wildboy, Chris Pontius, this was a time when Steve-O was addicted to drugs and alcohol and actually got hurt.
This time around it seems that everyone has a “clean” head on their shoulders but from previous interviews about the latest film, Johnny Knoxville went through some trauma during the filming of the movie, including some minor brain damage, and was hospitalized along with Steve-O. As much as I would love to see Johnny come out on top, I hope that he knows what he is doing because I would love to see him make it to Jackass #5.
WWE Royal Rumble will be streaming on Peacock and on the WWE Network. Jackass Forever is in theaters starting Friday, February 4th.
