In a recent interview, Slash was asked on how it is like being a father to two sons who have grown interested in playing music. For those who do not know, Slash has two sons with now ex-wife Perla Ferrar, London (19) and Cash (17). Cash has gone down the path of hip-hop and techno but London, who is the drummer of the band S8NT ELEKTRIC, seems to be following in his father’s footsteps.

Slash goes on to explain that when he was 19 he had just joined Guns N’ Roses and now with London, he has just started to play gigs and open up for the bands Mammoth and Dirty Honey. “…he’s 19 now and he’s in this band that’s out gigging all the time. So it’s really sort of surreal.” 

Slash is currently on tour and promoting his newest album with Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators titled “4”. Would you want your child to follow in your footsteps?
